ABOUT OUR PASTOR
BEAU COMEAUX
Pastor Beau Comeaux is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and has a deep, personal testimony of God’s grace and calling on his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age, kneeling at the foot of his mother’s bed a moment that would shape his future, even through seasons of growth and challenge.
Beau was raised at Gulf Coast Baptist Temple in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Like many, he faced struggles during his teenage years and drifted from his faith. However, God’s plan for his life was far from over. Through His providence, Beau met his wife, Melissa, who was a faithful member of Paramount Baptist Church at the time. As their relationship grew, Beau began attending church with her, and after they were married, they faithfully attended Temple Baptist Church in Biloxi.
It was there that Beau experienced a renewed and committed walk with the Lord. During a revival service, while Brother Jarred Lee was preaching on the prodigal son, Beau felt God calling him to something greater. In that powerful moment, he surrendered his life to full-time ministry and answered the call to preach.
Since that time, Pastor Beau has faithfully served in various roles, including a period as interim pastor at Temple Baptist Church. He later pastored O’Neal Road Baptist Church for three and a half years and served as a missionary at Middle Cross Baptist Mission for seven years. He also served as interim pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church before being called to pastor Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in 2015.
Pastor Beau has a genuine love for people and a strong desire to share the hope of the Gospel with others. His heart is to see lives changed through Jesus Christ and to lead others in growing their faith.
He and his wife, Melissa, are blessed with two children, Joshua and Anna. As a family, they faithfully serve together at Mt. Calvary, ministering to the church and community with love, dedication, and a servant’s heart.
